The US Government Is Reverse-Engineering Alien Technology

Tennessee Congressman Tim Burchett is certainly no stranger to making claims about UFOs and extraterrestrials.

In a recent interview with Newsweek, Burchett said he believes the US government "eventually recovered the ship and possible beings."

"I think a lot of things are being reconstructed right now, but we just don't understand it," he said.

His statements follow comments he made in January after the Pentagon's Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released a much-anticipated UFO report.

"This case is a huge cover for some reason," he said.

"And I believe America is ready, we need to know and stop all these scams."

"If you were a human doing the laps you see in some of these videos, you would literally turn into a box of ketchup."

"I mean, when you go... there's no steam, it's something else, out of this world.""

"We've been hiding this case since the 1940's, Roswell or earlier I believe."
