A strange shape similar to that commonly associated with the Loch Ness Monster has been sighted in the water recently.
Anna Purse was spending the weekend on the beach at Clevedon with her six-year-old daughter when she noticed something strange in the sea The object, she noticed, closely resembled Scotland's famous sea monster. "My six-year-old daughter Grace and I walked along the seafront on Sunday and sat on one of the benches in front of the pier," she said.
Purse wasn't the only person to spot the suspicious creature that day - several other visitors to the area have also reported seeing something unusual in the water and posting photos on social media.Far from being Nessie's oceanic cousin, however, the "monster" is little more than a piece of driftwood washed away by the tide.
Even the exchange itself has admitted that this is the most likely explanation. "Of course it was driftwood, but it looked so unusual"; She added. “The shape was right next to the dock and I noticed it was moving. It moved in front of us along the sea as we sat there."
"My daughter Grace said it looked like a sea monster. The shape alone reminded me of Nessie.
